These Shoes are Made for Walking
Mr. Menace and I are joining his sister and our brother-in-law on a trip to New England in just a couple of weeks, so I wanted to get a couple of pairs of shoes that would be easy on my feet as a tourist. Normally, you will see me in heels. I like the way they look. I like the way they make me feel. However, I am practical and when I am doing a lot of sightseeing as I expect to do, I want to have shoes made for walking!
I bought these silver Ecco walking shoes last year before we went on our cruise to Mexico. I wanted something cute but good for excursions. They are great. I wear them any time that I expect to be walking very much and I highly recommend this brand.

This European brand does not come in 1/2 sizes, so order down, as they run big. I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered up thinking I’d need to but had to return them for a 7.
Cute sneakers have been on my wish list all summer, so our upcoming trip was a good excuse to find some comfortable and cute ones. These Puma in white leather with yellow trim are CUTE and very comfy.

The little kiltie on this shoe is SO cute!
There is just a touch of sparkle/glitter on the yellow portions which I love!
My athletic shoes were totally worn out anyway, so I ordered some of those too. I ended up with these black Women’s Flex Running Sneakers from Finish Line .
They are extremely light weight and very comfortable and the pink swoosh is cute!
I also ordered these black floral Sketchers.
The insole is memory foam and is very comfortable, but they are a bit high on my ankle bone and rub it a bit. Hopefully, they will be ok when I wear them a few more times.
The embroidery is spectacular!
Now for the ones that didn’t make the cut:
I love the idea of a slip on. So quick and easy! And these are so light weight, its like wearing nothing at all.
I ordered the size 8 and they were just enough too big, that I was afraid they would slip on and off my heel too much. I could have returned them for a different size, but I really didn’t like the way they looked on my foot. They do come in some awesome colors though.
These sky blue leather Nikes are gorgeous. In fact I love anything that is what I like to refer to as Carolina Blue.
They were the prettiest of all the shoes I ordered and I wanted to love them, but I just couldn’t. The exterior was extremely stiff and hard. Nothing about them was comfortable.
I will be wearing my new shoes all over New Hampshire, Maine and maybe Massachusetts also during that week and I can’t wait to tell you all about where me and my shoes have been when we get back.
